Working on and 06. Truck starts right up and idles for a few seconds then dies. Almost like its out of fuel. Fuel pressure holds about 55. Icp, ipr, ficm, cam/crank sync are all good. Thanks guys.

When it dies if I crank it again without recycling the key it will not start. Recycle the key and it fires right up then dies again after a few seconds.

Is compression getting in the fuel? Like an injector isn't torqued down right enough?

One way to test is remove the secondary fuel filter, hold the collar down on the stand tube and crank the engine via starter jumper wire by passenger fender. If bubble appear in the fuel filter housing while holding down the collar and cranking compression is getting in the fuel.

No codes or anything after running a self test?

When you try to restart without cycling the key none of the no start pids bring up anything revealing?

Nothing. Finally got it running. Started everytime with no issues for 3 days. Then back to same thing. Its like you turn ignition off. It just dies. Almost always about 8 seconds after startup. Changed nothing now it is running again.

whats your ficm input and output when this happens? also read the PCM input voltage while its running. I dont have a schematic with me to tell you which pins to check.

Your FICM reads 13.5-14V and 48V right up to the point it dies? Both go down simutaneously? It is interesting that something is causing it to shut off since you have fuel pressure, FICM voltage, ICP, IPR voltages. are you using auto enginuity?

Now it is running fine but wont display any ficm or icp values. Just basics like coolant temp and rpm.
