Here is a diagram that kinda shows the flow.

Can someone help me understand how different sized turbine wheels, turbine housings, and compressor covers affect spool and overall flow? I've always felt a little behind when it comes to that.

Thanks a lot

Yeah the small charger is used to help spool the larger charger. This is why it is bolted or collecting exhaust from the manifolds. The exhaust side of the smaller turbo helps drive the larger turbo. The larger turbo then feeds air back through the smaller turbo where it is compressed more or compounded.

If I botched that in anyway lemme know fellas.

Only being 100% picky the smaller does not help spool the bigger one. The exhaust that goes through the smaller one pushes past and turns the bigger one. Then feed the smaller one more air than what it could get naturaly. Hope that helps. :D

Thanks guys, that clears it up pretty well for me

What's a setup like these cost, and how hard is it to do, and can it be done to a stock motor with out screwing things up?
