no chit. streetmax r turbos dont have the surging issues. the streetmax X is much more prone due to compressor design and size...

Sounds like its not a great choice for street then........:flipa:
He made a tweak and it improved, I was still able to get surging but it required a steep bridge . It didn’t surge on some hills that it would normally, just growl a little. Also, on the one steep bridge the surging was not as violent as it was before. Didn’t ask what he did, but I suspect vane schedule. Trans shifting was not modified and it remained in 6th.

Would you be pushing the gear ratio envelope to far by running 3.31's and 22 inch rims with maybe 305 wheels?
I'm looking to get MAX fuel economy out of a F250 with a truck bed camper in the back.
What is the highest gear ratio combo you would want to run with a 22 inch rim and tire before your RPMs would be so low it would surge?
I'm about to put True Tracs front and back and want to play with ratios lower than 3.73
I'm thinking 3.31 or 3.55 with 22 inch rims
