finally have a line on a bag of embaco885, now called masterflow885.
I had to email the BASF sales rep and go back to BrockWhite.
it is on the way.

got it. special order, had to pay shipping. $132cdn

wow 2" seems like a very tall fill. is that too much for a street motor?

running around today collecting the stuff to mold water passages.

I would think 2" would be plenty. If you think about where all the heat is produced in the engine, the 2" will keep it cool. I think one of the guys on here even had the block filled on his tow truck to the 2" line.

I wish someone out in Arizona can tell me how well a filled block would do in our 115+ degree heat for a DD.

I used some plasticine from Michael's craft store to make some plugs for water passages

poured the DS today

that grout is kind of scary to work with. it stiffens up very fast.
the fuel hose pulled out nice and clean. pretty happy with how it turned out

poured PS after work to day.

Cool as can be, because your only cooling a small percentage of the OEM system. IMO, if you plan on towing, don't block fill.
