Warranty replaced a 2-3 month old alternator because it wouldn’t charge over 12v with no accessories on radio or headlights and it would drop to 11.6, glow plugs being on after startup it was down to 11 and dipping into the tens.

Dynoed with a stock turbo for chits and grins. Did 511/1039 with water meth on, and 480/977 fuel only. It is a smokey ass pig without a big turbo.

I just rolled 40k tonight on my ‘15 and the terminals are already caked with corrosion...sure it won’t be long for me either.

ummmm, that just means it has been wet a few times. that is a natural reaction. you are supposed to clean the posts off every year..

Lately motorcraft batteries have been cracking quite often. Better get that chit clean before the cable end gets eaten. Unless they are replacement motorcrafts and you have warranty. Cant tell you how many sets of battery cables ive done on these, and they suck major donkey balls...

My 09 still has the original batteries, but it only has 25,000 miles on it.
