My main question is about the big memphis belle amp.... is it .5 ohm stable?

My current setup:
4 memphis 4 ohm dvc subs rated for 250rms...
All 4 door speakers memphis mclass 3 way coaxial 6.5" round. .
A fried rockford fosgate bd 1000
And a kenwood 4 channel...

I recently fried the bd, and I'm looking for a replacement. ..

I tried some googling but gave up after about 5 minutes. I would lean to say that it is not, just because 0.5ohm stable is fairly rare, and even if it was you would want to make sure the electrical is top notch so that it doesn't fry.

Probably be easier to keep your kenwood on the speakers and find a 1000w @ 2ohm amp

Right, that will be the difference between Nominal (0.5, 1, 2, 4, etc) and actual.

So if you wire it for 0.5 the actual measured after the wiring and terminal cups/transitions and the whole package very well could be over 1.0.
