Is it normal for the exhaust bearing to be welded to the center section after a such an event?

I'm bring this back up.
Got harvesting done and things on the job are slowing down. Gonna try to get my GTA4294 mounted to my t4i mount. I know a guy that makes adapters and can adapt it to a T6. Should have room.
Any input of suggestions?

I am getting very close to tying up the GT42. But still need to fab the compressor discharge flange to intercooler pipe.

Will have to watch EGT's

Got some welding of the intercooler pipe and flange coming off turbo done. Gonna strip all the intercooler pipes down to bare metal along with the intake tubes and get them powder coated red.

Ahh, got it. I still plan to try the 4294r one day lol. If I can ever bring myself to spend that much on something that small.

I'm still waiting for the day someone puts a EFR 9180 on a 7.3. I think that turbo would rock!
Basiclly a 467.7 fmw with ball bearing cartridge and a way better turbine. Should flow just as good as s468 and spool twice fast.
