I bought a 'stock' replacement radiator last fall for my cummins swap, and I'm finally trying to assemble some radiator hoses.

I have the stock Ford hose ends from an 08 6.4 truck, and when I install them onto the radiator nipples, they seize in to place right before the land becomes visible for the retainer. I've lubricated the parts, and also removed the o-rings with the same results. It goes plastic-to-plastic like the ID of the hose and OD of the nipple are the same dimension. I had to use a prybar to bump the hose back off the other night.

Has anyone else experienced this? I could sand on either of the parts, but I really don't want to end up causing a leak.

Thanks
Kyle
