Picked up a new '17 Lariat. These things are nice!!! Anyway, is there a way to turn the seat belt chime off, is there a high idle mod like on the '08-'10 and are there holes behind the 6.7l Powerstroke emblem or can they be removed easily, ie debadge? Thanks!!

Check the owners manual for a procedure for turning the chime off, or it is programmable. On the older ones it was a series of buckle/unbuckle in a certain amount of time, spin in a counter clockwise circle 3 times, touch your toes and then open and shut the door...

But Seriously, it was a dumb ass procedure, but it was in the owners manual.

Hahaha, yeah I did it on my '08 and like not having the dinger, drives me nuts.

You can wire an upfitter switch to high idle, but iirc, it's a bit different than older models.
Did it on my '08 and was super easy, butt connect two wires and was good to go.

No offense, but shouldn't you have read the manual before asking simple questions

Your right. I was just going off my old one which I am pretty sure that process was not in the manual. Didn't think they would have made a safety feature any easier to get rid of. One thing I've learned in life is that it never hurts to ask questions. Might hurt your pride to be made fun of but no physical damage. :)

They really aren’t, I just think the cabs throw it all off..

The trucks come with a 3 5/8in rear block. People told me I’d never get my 2017 as low as my 2015 as they sit way higher. Guess what? It’s just a low and it’s got the same suspension setup.

Nice lookin ride, long bed where its at. Especially the 48 gal

I second that!!!
I can’t see spending 80k or more on a truck that can’t hold a sheet of plywood without the tailgate down. I personally got the long bed and the lift because I’m “compensating”- lol.
