So those who followed my last thread know that I'm not terribly up to date with things. I had planned to run my truck as hard and long as possible and then build the motor some time in the future. Well now things have changed. Had a few things fall into my lap kinda out of nowhere all at the same time. The first being what could either be a GT4718 or GT4788 (I can't tell the difference and the local IH dealer is closed) with a T6 mount and what appears to be a 1.39AR housing. This will all be verified by my local dealer in the morning. The second and third things are 2 non-running, but not blown up T444Es from two, 2000 4300 landscaping trucks that were theft recoveries and parted out. The motors have been sitting for at least 3 years and obviously need full rebuilds. The good news, they are complete from turbo to pan, with injectors, accessories, everything. These will be dropped off to my shop over the weekend and I will begin the teardown process. I couldn't take pics of the motors as my phone died, but when they are delivered, I will update. So now I have what I believe is a fantastic starting point to make bad-@ss setup and not have to even take my truck off the road to do it. Oh, and I should have plenty of good usable parts left over to share with the rest of the guys here who would need something. So I think it only appropriate to start a build thread soon :)

Update. The turbo is not a GT47xx Garrett specifies this as a GTA3782B. I'm waiting on a follow up email from them to figure out the specs, but from what I've read, it is a 59.1mm inducer with a 88mm exducer 52 trim .54A/R with a 72.5mm turbine 1.12A/R. The turbo was free so I'm not overly bummed it's not a 47xx but it goes to show what happens when you trust the word of others with no research. Motors will be here this weekend though.

Not that much different than a stock 7.3 turbo.

Yessir. The only thing I notice compared to the 7.3 turbo is it's standard rotation, the turbine housing is much smaller, and the compressor housing is ported. Other than that, it specs out the same as far as I can see.
