Seems to be some big variances between trucks and injectors. Some guys with 190s are making 600 and other guys are making 475. Post up your mods, turbo, who's injectors, and what you've laid down for dyno #s. Please keep this thread clean, should make for good discussion on combos that are working for guys and what's not. That 550hp # is getting thrown around lots for guys with a powermax and 190s. Who's actually dyno'd that and have track times to back up that kind of power

No dyno yet...... Did 105 on fuel in my CCSB 2x4..... 7100lbs. Calculator puts it just under 550.

buddy just installed a load dyno and got it up and running a couple days ago. I'm hoping i'll have time to put mine on tomorrow or the next day to see what mine puts down. I've been wanting to know for a while now. I'll post the numbers up when i do. This will be a good thread. What guys don't understand about dyno numbers is...you really need to dyno on a load dyno and load the truck....not do a quick spike. When you do a spike run, you're not getting a true HP reading. I'm not a big fan of dyno numbers from a spike run.

We've had two trucks on our dyno with a powermax and 190's. One made 505hp/850tq and the other made 482hp/905tq. Younger1993 is the one who made 482/905, I'm sure he will chime in here and tell more about his set up.

This is on a loaded SuperFlow btw.

I dont think a powermax can do 550 w/ 190s unless you get a wednesday truck and perfect weather and spot on tunes.

High 480-520 seems to be more realistic. 100% nozzles vs 75% nozzles make a difference as well.

Weve dynoed 550 w/ 190s and a vgtss, and changed injectors to 205s and went 12.8@104-105 in a ccsb 4x4 w/ 2 inch lift and 33s, which seems to be match dyno numbers pretty well.

I also agree, telling everyone 190s and a powermax will do 550 every time is going to burst a lost of peoples bubbles once they get on the track or dyno. Its doable but not everyone will, infact most wont.

Did 534/1211 on a loaded mustang dyno with 190/100's, powermax, and all supporting mods. Hp seems right but tq seems pretty high. They were using some weird correction factors though.

I think the whole point is the correction factor.

Shawn is looking for actual HP, backed up at the track, now if you have a corrected number, and its backed up by trap speed... sweet if not, better go with an uncorrected number just to keep the topic fair like he is asking.

well...uncorrected was 411....and I know that's not right so I dunno. I did 8.58 @ 78 in the 1/8 (bad 60' and spinning.) used a 1/8 calc that said 551 at the wheels based on et and 536 based on trap speed...assuming a weight of 7700lbs (which is a guess)

I said the same thing to those idiots in that thread on psn. They said with a batmo, it should pull 575 LOL

Very nice, those are real #s. I'm seeing a lot of builds where guys are miss lead by the forums, but some 175-190s in and a small upgrade of a turbo and think there going to have a monster on there hand.

Here's a truck with 225's and a 64 non vgt that makes awesome power with 105mph to match his #s. This is the discussion I was looking for. Some guys are claiming 550plus with less fuel/turbo/ supporting mods.

How many of us including myself that has been diappointed with there dyno or track #s

fair enough, posting that trap speed first would have made me not question the correction factor at all, thanks for the info.

Good thread btw shawn...
