Bought the truck new and since then it's been through several changes. But now it's time to get custom with it before I repaint it and bag and body it. 2014 4x4 Ruby red platinum. Been swapped to 2wd at this point. 369sxe, 15pump, Midwest comp trans. Lots of ideas to go on it. Suicide rear doors, flush door handles, Chevy tailgate, custom modify and shortened rear bumper, wing for the bed, fiberglass smooth cowl, custom headlights and taillights, sunroof ******, one piece rear window.
Current mods are shaved cab corners caps, aftermarket hood, fiberglass grille, f150 tailights, and shaved fuel door, and shaving the bed caps smooth, front bumper modifications (pads shaved, center hole narrowed a few inches both sides, 4thgen Dodge 2500 fog lights)

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't know if he was joking with some of this stuff or what. I'm damn sure interested though.

Dodge fog lights, chevy tailgate, d-leet the sunroof.................why buy a platinum and do all this to it, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy an XL, hack it to sh!t, and just add some Platinum seats?

Different strokes for different folks.

If no one did crazy off the wall sh*t like this the market would not be what it is today.

H*ll I don't get the 12" wide tire on a 14" wide rim, the ass end low look, or the skating stance but they all have been popular with different groups over the past couple of years.

And as for the ricer reference, diesel have become the ricers of the 90's.

With 2wd swap, the Dodge this and Chevy that... Heck, do a Toyota motor swap!!

That would round this build right off!

It doesn't sound that bad tbh, only thing i would do different is go with some type of wire wheel, at least a 72 spoke possibly a 100 spoke, you will prob need a 15x7 to clear calipers

Not joking at all. 2wd swap has to be done since truck will have a full frame built for it and be bodied. You can't lay a vehicle out with a solid axle in the way.
The wing I should have said spoiler. It will be hand built but it will mimic the spoiler of a cat eye Chevy SS truck. Won't be as pointed up though. I plan on it only being about 1inch taller than the bed rails and only stick off the back of the truck by about 4inches. It will have a slight curve to it to give that more sporty look. Than just a flat piece.

The reason I do it is why look like every other f250 with 14wides and lifted. I believe in custom. And to me custom is actually doing more than a bolt on lift with paint to match. I miss the days (early2000s-late1990s) when custom trucks actually were custom.

My bad on the slow replies. Thought my phone was going to notify of them. It didn't.

Well right now since I'm driving it as a daily and doing body work I have to seal up the primer once I'm done with each panel. So im using a single stage blue with silver metallics. Once I'm finished with the complete truck I will be painting it purple. And no the cabin vents aren't painted. They are tapped up and I didn't peel it off for the picture.
