Cel / egr question

So with my e.g.r cooler - ummm permanently clogged...

Would there be a way to pull the tune off the truck and not have a cel? (Trucks an 06)

Kicking the idea around of trading up to a 6.7, knowing ill get hosed i figure pull all off that i can

nope, you will always get the egr flow insufficient code.

If you are using SCT as the tuning platform, just leave the tune in the truck and send your tuner to SCT to get unlocked. I think it only costs 150.00.

You can try it, I've seen one 05 that didn't do it, and I've seen a handful of 03/04's that did do it, even when they weren't supposed to. Don't get your hopes up though. My 06 would throw the light almost immediately.

If you're trading it in... find someone throwing out a stock cooler? Probably not worth the time to put it in though.

Going to a 6.7 eh?
