Good luck driving into Skankakee to get it. It used to be on the "worst cities to live in" list. Good price though.

1600 for a rebuild.

I dont mind it. Ive been through 1000 times. its only ~25 mins from me

Revisiting this.

Trans had been slipping bad. I hammered down and never saw 3rd again and OD light flashing.

It's time. Although I don't think I'm building it myself, pretty sure I'm just doing a local rebuild. The shop I'm thinking of going with has a pretty darn good rep for 4R work.

Truck never tows, never pulls, just around town and 4x4 winter duty. Don't think I need a built trans. Local so if there are any issues it can be taken care of asap..

What is the benefit of a triple disc?

John Wood, simply the best transmission out there. He stands behind his work because its the best. No it ain't cheep, but u only get what u pay for. According to his web site he's moving toward supplying parts if u want to rebuild.. He is a stand up guy! HIGHLY RECOMEND
