Ok, so I am biting the bullet and converting my 08 ps to a 4x4. I found the entire front clip, transfer case, and drive lines super cheap. Looks pretty straight forward and everything will bolt up based on everything I am reading. Just need a little guidance. The truck currently has a fabtech 6" lift on it. So of course I will need some sort of lift on the new front end to make the truck level. Now it is my understanding 4x4s sit higher naturally so what size lift would I need on the front to make the truck even with the rear. I think a 2.5 inch would work, but need some help please.... :bowfast:

In a nutshell, you need to remove the I beam front end along with coils, shocks and trailing arms.

Then you will need:

- 4x4 transmission output shaft/housing.
-manual transfer case
-rear driveshaft
-full front axle with draglink
-front driveshaft
-front shocks
-4x4 steering gear w/pitman arm
-coils of whatever weight rating you choose 6000lb is the heaviest and will set your truck to 4x4 ride height
-radius arms (these mount to the existing frame mounts but utilize the other hole)
