Okay guys I have received the go ahead from Mike to make the calendars again!
IF YOU MADE THE CALENDAR LAST YEAR YOU MAY NOT ENTER THE SAME TRUCK THIS YEAR -Photo Submission will go from now until 11:59pm Sunday October 16th. -A new thread will be made at that time for voting, which will go from October 16th to 11:59 pm October 22. -Voting will be select all that you like as long as no one objects, but I ask that you select no more than 12 -After voting, the 15 photos with the most votes will make it into the calendar. First 12 get a month and the other three will be used for the cover and sponsor pages as I see fit. - 1 PICTURE SUBMISSION PER TRUCK For picture submission please e-mail me a high resolution photo (atleast 300 ppi or 3300x2550 pixels) to psacal2017@gmail.com Along with the picture please include the following information in the e-mail: -Owner's Name -Photographer name/company -Location of photograph (city, state) -Year and model (ex. 2008 F250 SCSB or CCLB) If you are selected for the calendar you will need to complete a photo release form so if you had a professional photographer take it you need to clear it with them. Photo Requirements: -High Resolution (If your photo isn't High Res it cannot be used and you will be disqualified from voting) -No crazy cropping please -No cell phone pics -no watermarks -Clear and in focus -Family friendly -no "models" If you have any questions feel free to post up or pm me! I am busier than usual with school this year so if it takes me a few days to get back with you please bare with me. I'm scheduling the labor intensive parts of this process around my breaks from school. IF I DONT RECEIEVE YOUR ENTRY VIA E-MAIL YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR VOTING WHETHER YOU POST HERE OR NOT! Maybe a stupid question but what's the difference in a 12mp point and shoot Canon camera and a 12mp cell phone pic?
Are neither one considered hi-Res?

The cell phone uses a smaller sensor to capture the light vs the point and shoot. A smaller sensor using the same megapixels as a larger sensor is going to create image quality issues, low light issues and dynamic range issues. The chip used to process that image on either device plays a significant factor as well. Hence why a new iPhone takes better pics then some point and shoots even though it has a smaller sensor. In today's world of cameras 12mp is not considered high res. For a phone it is high res.

So the pixel requirements are (3300x2550) but the S7 takes (4032x3024) I don't have any cool friends with a Canon fawkkkkk
