Thanks Phil. I just installed some Amp Research steps today, got the windows tinted last weekend, and have a new goodie coming on wednesday.

How did you like it?

I liked it enought to put one on this truck too. I been thru just about every intake company at least once and S&B has won my business. They fit well, install is easy, look nice, and they are usually a few bucks cheaper than the competition.

I think most intake probably perform very similar within a fraction of hp/tq/mpg so I think it comes to personal preferance really and those three factors are my reasons for continuing to give them my business.

How hard are the amps to install? I ordered mine today.

Not hard at all. All you need is a set of wire strippers, a flat screwdriver, a couple sockets and an allen wrench.

Ive installed a couple sets not but for a first time 2 hours max. Really an easy job. Hardest part is that it tells you that for drivers front door to find a green with purple stripe wire....there are 5 of them damn things where they tell you to look. Trial by error....

Really though, its easy and basic.
