you are pushing air thru it, not excessively over-speeding it. Its not making the boost itself. Remember, it is a pressurized system-its not a lineup of fans lol

If the 15+ turbine was so restrictive the 65+mm compressor wheels wouldn't be so effective.

1:1 drive/boost pressures might be ideal in all out race situations but there's nothing wrong with making some back pressure to get things spooled up.
