Even with TC completely off.. of I’d press the brake while sliding, reduced power would turn on.. I had to play with the gas pedal and be careful not to press the brake too long.

If you press and hold traction control can you shut off the stability control/traction control? Or does that just switch the 17+ into the "Sport Mode"

Still the same as the 2015. Press once and TC turns off. You then hold it till advanced track turns off.. only difference is after all of that. This 17 still went into reduced power mode.. maybe it’s because I don’t have tuning yet?

I thought sport mode was holding in the tow/haul button. Im probably wrong though.

Ya that must be it. I have a 15 so no sport mode for me. Just remember the f150 guys doing it with one of the buttons

Sorry for my ignorance, what is this sport mode?

edit nevermind I google it.

Ok so I need to be set straight on the diffs. When I ordered my truck, it gave me the option of locker, or open diff. Now as I understand the open diff is "one legger"correct? I've seen some vids of "posi" burnouts, so I'm a little confused on how this is being done. The locker disengages at 20 mph I believe, so what's goin on? I probably wouldn't have ordered the locker if they had a limited slip as a option.

You are correct e locker or open diff. A lot of people run a Detroit trutrac (really good limited slip) or a mechanical locker. Detroit, grizzly, lock rite...... i think there is a company that makes a plug and play kit to allow the e locker to stay engaged with no speedo stoppage.

i guess that is hit or miss.. i thought about getting one but it isnt a sure thing plus the factory locker wont take the abuse..
