Looking at doing a long arm TTB setup on my f350 swapping it from 2wd to 4wd. Wanting to keep coil springs and really like the idea of the long arm setup. Has anyone here ever done one that can give me a few pointers?

I do not think it has been done on larger trucks. It has been done on a Broncos time and time again. They run a dana 44 setup. Long arm as in cut and turn the beams right? There is one guy who is running coil overs on his dana 50 TTB. Found the article http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1211or-stealth-prerunner-1982-ford-f250-4x4/

No planning on building the trailing arms and mounts and everything myself in the shop. Was just wondering if anyone had done one that way.

I’ve only seen that setup on prerunners or fully built rangers for the 4 x 4 travel. Straight axel is definitely the way to go for reliability in my opinion. Fun stuff
