So... been to the thinking the hose from the oil cooler to the egr ****** is leaking. I always see a puddle under the pass side of the truck after i drive it. So looked it up and 3/4 hose and clamps is what i need. One clamp is simple to get to. The other is not. After being highly frustrated i think hey why not make a simple mod and just cut the piping....

So pipe is cut. Came out easy then. But the side going to the intake is loose as balls. Is there a way to reroute the coolant and skip the intake?

So to awnser my own question. It would not be very easy to ****** it with out modding the intake or plugging the hole that is some what difficult to get to with the intake on. The egr ****** i have is a 2 piece design. So far not a fan. I would rather had a welded cooler in place.

Oring was in fact trash. Hard and brittle. Went to vatozone because i have a 20 dollar rewards balance. Yeah apparently they dont carry orings. Probably going to have to buy blinker fluid to spend that rewards balance. Orilleys though had them so i picked up a few. The ****** bolts underneath the intake. The bolts go down from the top so it is serviceable while in the truck.

Couldn't get even a ratchet or open end wrench on the back clamp. It was done with the turbo off is why i cut it.

Its back together now. It will me alot simpler in the future with it now being a 3 piece assembly. I will say it was a real pita to get the cover plate in ther fished around the coolant pipe. Now have no leaks. Probably isnt going to fix my high oil temps but now i wont waste antifreeze when i prep for winter in the next few weeks
