Am I getting turbo surge

hey guys i have a deleted 13 with custom tunes from gearhead running on the street tune. Every now and than when im pulling from a stop stop at normal pedel my truck will shift like normal than it will lose boost according to my cts it will go to 0 than it will still move but is doggy than it will snap out of it and get back to normal. Is that turbo surge? I dont think its in the tuning but i could be wrong. Thanks for any help brad

Talk to gearhead is the best I can come up with.

No, most refer to turbo surge as the boost moving say like 3-5lbs while cruising down the road at a constant speed and the boost just moving up and down you can feel it on by the seat of your pants and hear it but no real speed change just keeps bouncing from like 6-11psi.

What you are seeing doesn't sound exactly right either but kind of sounds like a defuel issue. Best would be to talk to one of the guys at gearhead.
