Rigid Industries lights anyone?

My buddy ordered the wrong one, this one isn't a Rigid brand one like my D2's, but it was about 60% of the cost I was going to pay for the Rigid 20", and considering I can only use this one when not a soul is in sight, it was probably for the best.

"3Sixty" brand, 20" combo bar. 2yr warranty. I'll try out this position for a month and see if I want to keep it here or what. Not worried about the loss of "flood" lighting because of the D2's, which are amazing for wide angle lighting.

It's not nearly as subtle as I anticipated, but ohh-well.

Thanks! I haven't tried it at night yet, but I'll try to get some night pictures for others wondering about the light distance and such if my camera cooperates.

i was thinking about trying a 30" in that spot...may be a bit to much tho haha

Got any pics of how you mounted it behind the grill, Sniper? I love lights behind grills.

Here was a picture from mid-install. It's just a simple H-bracket. I didn't put much work into it because I honestly wasn't sure I was going to like it in the grille. So if I keep it there, I'll beef up the bracket a bit and make it adjustable. You can see the lower part of the header panel that prevented me from putting it in the bottom grille slot that I was originally planning.



Edit - Also you can sort-of see the similar style mount the D2's are on below. It's actually a section of cutter bar from a John Deere flex header, and while that may sound slightly "ghetto" or "hack", it's 1/4" thick and already has holes every 1" spaced, so it makes light position adjustable.

you guys running the dually's and D2's, running them in spot or flood pattern?

Just installed my 20"light bar. Rigid doesn't make a bracket for my truck so I had custom brackets made. Used existing bolt holes that hold the lower plastic air damn in place with slight modification so I could use a nut and bolt instead of the treaded metal tab on the plastic air damn. worked great. My friend that made the brackets for me kept the program on his computer so more can be cut out. will fit 2008-2010 superduty's.
