So is the camper package the only way to get the rear sway bar? Do they make much difference? I don’t have a camper, but I do occasionally haul hay, which is a relatively tall load.
Does the sway bar have a negative effect on ride and handling when empty?

Just buy a hellwig bar. I highly recommend it. It does not hinder the ride.

I will keep the Hellwig in mind. It does look like they are over $100 more than the camper package option. Are they a better bar than the factory one?

I have camper package and fifth wheel prep and it has overloads and the plug. If the fifth wheel package gets you what you need, just add the Helwig yourself unless you see a need for the heavy duty front springs.

WAY better then factory ones are finger thin and you can bend with your hands.
