Irate T4 kit, IPR removal

Ill be damned if this IPR is going to come out without pulling the mounting bracket, and loosening the up pipes at the manifolds.
Anyone have any tricks I am not seeing?

Makes me wish I had a Harrington mount instead.........

I had the same issue with mine. It was a pain, but I don't think I had to loosen the up pipes at the manifold, but my truck was a 2004 with early style pump.

Mine is an 04 as well. Didn't have to losses anything to pull the IPR last time. If memory serves me correctly I would up getting to it from beneath the truck and used a pair of smaller channel locks that I cut some of the handle off. I'll post a pic of the them when I get back out to my truck.

Here they are. They fit right up and allow for enough movement to spin it out of there
