Default Long crank hot or cold

Iím not sure what to try anymore. I have been chasing a long crank to start hot or cold. I live in Vegas so itís not like the air temp is to cold to need the glow plugs to be a necessity to start. The Hpop res has been empty in the am. I have filled it and it still took a long time to start.
I have
Changed the oil n filter
Hpop to res gasket
LPOP
Replaced the Hpop reservoir thinking that it had a crack
The truck has 500,000 miles on it. It runs great. And smooth.
The fuel filter is not oil contaminated
I changed the lpop to rule out the week pump filling the Hpop res
About the only thing left to check is the ipr for a sticky valve or bad o-ring. I really donít know where the oil drains from.
Iím hoping that you guys can give me some help.

Thanks in advance.
