It's been pretty active lately, it was fairly dead for a while too.

7.3s are basically dead on the racetrack, and hardly glamorous on the street, lol.
Good workhorse, hard to justify bling for a twenty yr old platform.
Generally speaking, of course.

Hey I loved my old dinosaur 7.3L.... if the rust hadn't destroyed it I'd still have it.

I certainly miss the mileage right now, lol

New body parts stop rusts.... Can get rust free cabs for $500... Now I just need a bed. Then I'm probably going to vinyl wrap it, put interior back in....

I think trans is hurting, but I can get a rebuilt one pretty cheap due to my new corporate mother ship

I still love my obs 7.3 . I really don't drive it or use It much . I believe all the ground has been covered with these old dinosaurs and not much new for them will be coming out. The advances in the last 10 years has been amazing. I remember when putting a bb and a special spring in the fp regulator was a big mod. Take notice when out driving how many obs or even 7.3s do you see driving in your travels.Im in Northeast Pa and travel to Upstate NY several times a week and only seen 2 f150 sc last trip . They are truly becoming a rarity either from rusting out or people like me who try to save them by not using them in bad weather or normal dd duties. As for the forums being slow most do Facebook I don't do that my Wife cant live without it. I been on Diesel forums for 20 Plus years mostly as a lurker since most stuff has been covered and all you have to do is search and you question has more than likely asked numerous times.

Not around here. Cheapest I found was $2k, and it was a gasser. That was picked up btw.

What’s the difference if you have all the parts from your diesel wouldn’t you just be able to strip the gas cab and put all the diesel stuff in?

I swapped over all the wiring anyway. This cab was completely stripped. Nothing hard at all
