Well finally got around to building a street compound setup(Garrett 45R feeding a 38R ) that gave up nothing yet gave us some additional air density. The small street setup is surprisingly smooth on the power delivery yet very overwhelming at the same time, Nothing like a single lighting up with an instantaneous burst of power.

So you are using the factory 38r wastegate?

Any particular reason you chose to cool after the primary and not between?

No wastegate in intermediate pipe?

Nice!!! Now we need data on how big of a differance it made. I like the looks of compound setups..

Will you be making these to sell???? or just doing some testing??

looks good! will you ever go back to a big single now? i found you cant explain in words how compounds run, all you can do is drive them.

Don't say that. I tried to tell people that about the Prochagrer set-up and everyone told me I was fos and it didn't work. LOL

I like the looks of it only one thing I don't like is the air filter location.... Other than looks pretty sweet

How come there is no water to the 45r, wont it get fried :confused: Nice setup though, i wish i had compunds


You dont need the water on any of them... Does it help cool the turbo, yes, but its not going to fry without it.

I got a feeling he's going to need crowers in the near future. Lol I got a chance to see it in person really clean truck good work bud.
