Is it fluctuating much or pretty steady? I was only wondering because when guys were making "lope" tunes, they were setting the torque at idle high causing the motor to hunt or lope to idle. I know that's not what you did. But its acting similar

It stays relatively steady.
Those lope tunes, did they lope all the time or only when motor first fires up?

All the time. There were even some that would idle fine unless you hit the throttle quick and let off. Then it would lope. There were a few guys around here that ran those tunes. One gasser 6.0 chevy even haha!
