Ford remote access discontinued
Just got an email stating that att 3g is being discontinued and my Ford access will not work after dec 30. What are options for keeping it alive. Will Ford sell an updated module? I understood that att and the other carriers wouldn’t be shutting down 3g in fact. So maybe it will continue to work and that’s not a hard date? Input or thoughts?

Nobody has any input on this? I doubt Ford is going to release anything updated because they'd rather you buy a newer vehicle. I looked at Viper and Compstar systems. Compstar uses ATT 3G as well, but I haven't seen anything about them discontinuing service. I'm just not sure what all parts need to be changed out as I added Remote Access after I purchased the truck. Truck did not have remote start to begin with.
