Default Yeti Coolers and the NRA

The Yeti corporation has announced that they are no longer going to do any business with the NRA Foundation.

These Foundation events raise money to support youth programs and educational programs nationwide. The youth of America who benefit from these programs are the future hunters, hikers, fishermen/women, bikers, campers, wildlife photographers, mountain climbers, sportsmen/women and conservationists who will protect our natural resources and recreational lands.

I don't have a official link to the story but if you just do a search for "NRA and Yeti" you will come up with a lot of reading on other forums.

In my opinion Yeti just cut their own throats with what they have done. On another forum that I am on there are members that could buy and sell Yeti Corp and they are switching all of their purchases to RTIC and others manufactures.

One quote I found.

Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with The NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why. They will only say they will no longer sell products to The NRA Foundation. That certainly isn't sportsmanlike. In fact, YETI should be ashamed. They have declined to continue helping America's young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities. These activities enable them to appreciate America and enjoy our natural resources with wholesome and healthy outdoor recreational and educational programs."

RTIC bodied them on social media, almost everyone I know saw an RTIC ad with the 2A text in their instagram feeds. Great marketing move by them.

Really has me looking at them to replace my aging igloo, over an Engel and definitely over Yeti.

I have RTIC stuff. It works perfectly fine and a hell of a lot cheaper than YETI.

This. You can buy the exact same products at half or less than half the price.
