My clutch pedal went from soft to nothing today. According to my receipt, I purchased Ford 2C3Z7C522E on 3-12-16 for $280.49 out the door.

My question is is the South Bend upgrade any good? Or should I stay with these Ford parts?

PF 9021 from advance or carquest is a all aluminum slave and master cylinder kit with a bleeder.

I've had better luck with them over fords in the last year or so.

And 99.9% of the time I would say never use anything other then Oem.

I caught Ford’s 2 year warranty by a week, so I replaced it with another Ford unit for now. Thank you for the info about the aluminum set though.

By the looks of things, the front seal in the slave let go. It’s funny how mechanical linkages last decades and I can’t even get 24 months out of a hydraulic setup.
