I'm new here, was a member of another site that got way too commercial a few year back.
I saw Dave(golfer) here and joined.
Working on a friends 96 that has a weird random miss, most pronounced form 2k to 2200 but I feel it at all rpm's.
What I have done so far: CPS and connector(that got it to run)
Tighten loose IPR nut and Replaced fuel soaked connector.
Swapped IDM and ICP with mine.
Unplugged outer VC connectors 1 at a time and miss is still there.
Changed fuel pump that was starting to leak and all new hoses.
Cleaned fuel filter housing that had 1/2 inch of rust in bottom, FPR screen and new filter.
No codes show up with Superchips programmer and program set to stock.
I have a HP oil gauge tee'ed in right side and it looks like the pressure jumps UP when it misses.
It does it in park or driving. I don't have a way to watch real time data at the moment.
