Bd turbos

I have the big set and tuned by byall but when I take off it gets really loud under the truck like around the turbos then goes away as you pick up speed sounds like a boost leak but it goes away is it the way the vgt is set up I have checked the uppipes and everything other than taking them back off

whats the big set ? does it spool ok ? does it make peak boost? are EGT's high ?

I don't remember this size it's like 59 73 and boost it hits 53 wide open and it gets a little hot like 1400 wide open

1400 is cool for a six four. Boost is good. How does it spool?

I bet it is an open vane at idle tune

It is vgt turned off but it sounds just like a bad boost leak at idle

I found the leak ha bd uppipe busted but I have the turbos off of someone wants them I will cut you a deal

Exactly what are the turbos, who from, how many miles, etc.? Also, exactly what kind of a deal are you talking?

They are bd 73 58.5
I paid 3200 for them not even a year old maybe 7000 miles
I changed the oil feed and drain when but them on I am extremely OCD so the oil has been changed ever 3000 miles I will sell them for 2200 and no core
