When I shift my truck into 4wd I get on orange message display with the check 4wd. It won't lock but if I lock the hubs manually it works. Any suggestions?

never seen a vacuum leak cause a check 4wd message. Sounds more like an electrical item acting up like the 4wd solenoid.
I've seen this message when I forgot to plug in my connector on my coolant overflow tank when I did my ccv reroute.. I'd routed the hose behind that wire so I unplugged it, found out it's some 4wd wire.. not saying that's what it is, just my experience with that message...
