Ok Ive been interested in doing this for awhile. Ive looked into it a million and 2 times and haven't been able to come to a full conclusion as to how to do it. I see a bunch of ways of wiring it but not one way the way I hope to do it. So I'm hoping I can wire my EBPV into a brake. I want it to be hooked to a ON/OFF switch and that's it I don't want the auto factory setting I just want it to be manually controlled whether I flick the switch on to warm it up quicker or to slow down a little faster and keep myself at a steady speed going down some pretty good 6-8% grades hauling around my horse trailer and toys, just saves cooking my brakes.
So Ive read a few ways of wiring it but not one of the write ups was just a ON/OFF switch they were all ON/OFF/ON with one ON being the factory PCM setting. My light up switch has a ground, acc, and power. How would I wife it through this switch.

Not that hard. Lol
All it needs is power fed to it to turn it on.
I did it using a relay.
I don't remember the colors, but one is power, one is ground.
Just snip the power wire, then run the power from your switch or relay to it.

I would highly recommend the banks exhaust brake over the ebpv.
