I have an 05 front bumper with the white top pad. Anything special I need to do to paint this? I need to paint it Dark Shadow Grey Metallic.

sand it good and hit it with some good primer. then wet sand paint color repeat till you have some good layers and then clear.

if it is already painted there is no need to prime it. sand it with 400 grit paper until it is not shiny anywhere and spray away
