I have a Boss alternator now that went out. I think it is really from a 6.0
because I had to shim it up from the mount for it to fit. It only lasted
3 or so years so I was thinking of just getting an OReilies replacement.
I can't remember if this on his built special or if I had to do something
with the connectors. I think they are the same, but not sure.
The 6.0 Alternator is higher AMPS so that is why I was thinking of still
going that direction.
So will it fit and do I need some modification of the 6.0 alt other than just
shimming it up with a few washers?
