I just wanted to take a minute to thank Mike and Jim Haller at Haller’s repair in cheyenne for helping with my build. They have built a few different trucks over the years for me but by far this has been my favorite one to date I also wanted to thank Maryland Performance, No limit diesel especially Jeff and midwest diesel. All of these guys can be counted on to deliver a great product and have always bent over backwards for me I can’t thank them enough especially Haller’s repair. The diesel community is a great community to be a part of.

Midwest tranny
Midewest 75mm twin kit
Icon level kit and Trac bar
Maryland performance oil cooler

Parts from no limit
No limit intake
No limit piping kit
No limit deep oil pan
No limit intercooler
No limit catch can/Venturi
OUO bars
Bilstien 5100 front/rear/steering stabilizer
Hellwig front/rear sway bars
Maghytech tranny, front/rear diff covers
22in novakanes

We set out to build a reliable daily driver that tows and I think we did it. So huge thanks to these guys for the help.

Mike Haller is the ford king IMO

Well that’s one thing we still need to get done. Right now we are running on G******d on ‘tow’ but it does dyno 580(579.4) on that tune. I leave it there. It will do mid to high 6’s on the level right above it and we haven’t dynoed the two biggest tunes. But like I said it is the old school canned ******** on sct nothing special......yet. However the tuning is completely on point for me and what I want. I just want to dial it in a little more over time especially when the motor is ready.

Runs great I have no complaints. Temps are always way cool. I worry about oil temp way more then egt at this point as you can see in the pic there’s an aftermarket oil cooler now thanks to Maryland performance which makes those temps towing way more manageable. The truck with this setup on the tow (580hp) tune is my daily driving tune and I just leave it and forget it. Towing my 16k 5th wheels is awesome, the truck will do whatever you want it to do. The sweet spot is 1800-2200rpms so unless you want to tow 85mph in 6th you’ll find 5th is where You would want to be, usually im the 68-72mph range so I lock out 6th. However I did run 85-90mph and climbed about 2000ft in elevation over 200 miles or so and the truck just wanted to eat. But I get a little concerned towing that fast with a big load behind me.

Hottest I’ve seen is 1100-1200 and that’s on a long grade. The bad thing is when you’re hammering a hill and it’s 3 lanes and you’re in the middle because the semis are on the right and the unloaded vehicles are passing you on the left it’s a little hard to pay attention to anything but making sure you’re in your lane and that is when I watch oil temps more then anything because I can see it in the middle gauge cluster ‘stock gauges’ but it runs so cool I don’t really worry about it, I’ll glance real quick but that’s it and see what I mentioned above. I’m going on a pretty big trip with legit towing over the next week so I’ll report as I go

NICE !!! congrats on the setup and thanks for the support !

we just towed from l.a. to indy with a similar setup and 18k behind it, thru denver , and it was flawless , and no noticeable spool issues at 6000ft. we did just add the fleece 63/67 and it made a massive difference in temps , dropping them 200* on average.

Why Bilstien over fox?

Just because I’m use to them and they have been great shocks. I’ve never had a problem with them on multiple trucks....not saying fox has problems just saying lol

Yeah man I love it. Once I get the motor I’ll do something different for the primary for sure. Thank you as always

Little update. The pic with the cooler temps is running flat ground at 78-80mph in 6th the hotter temps are at the top of a grade in 5th at 68-70mph. The most surprising thing for me is that the coolant temps are way lower now that they don’t support the cooling of the oil too.

Well it can get hotter. You need wind to keep the cooler cool but it is still better then stock IMO

How’s the Venturi working out? I’ve read so many different posts about venting to atmosphere or Venturi into exhaust etc... I’m currently venting to atmosphere and it sucks, fumes are starting to annoy me.
