Quick update... Drove the truck on bags for the last 2 days... Feels great... Minor vibration from pinion angle I need to fix.. Set it up to 55psi... Things were great decided to drop the ride height a tad sat at 50psi things felt great... I will post sone final pictures later this week along with a better review on handling characteristics.

Sweet!
How much difference in ride height was there between 50 and 55 psi?

Haven't measured but I would say 3/4s of an inch maybe a tad less.. I will take pictures of the wheel well and post them later this week along with a review and some final pictures of the set up... Yesterday I put jack stands under the truck and man was it nice to just flip a switch and have the truck raise enough to be able to slide them into place.

Couple random lower psi heights..
Looking to buy some heavy duty 350 springs for the front... Should lift the front half to 3/4s of an inch.. Front are soft sagging excursion springs at 280k they suck for towing haha. I am also looking to go with 20s and get rid of the 22s... Would like more tire profile but not so much that I lose all the performance aspects of lower profile.
So far I have about 1k on the suspension... She rides really nice... Kinda feels like a 2006ish escalade.. At first I was a bit thrown off and felt like things were not attached haha but after a couple hundred miles I got the feel for it and love it.. Just wasnt use to the excursion feeling like an escalade haha... No wheel hop on straights or around sharp turns at wot and I mean none at all. Had about 600lbs loaded up at 40psi and drove/felt the same as unloaded.. Cant wait to put real weight behind it. Review kinda sucks but I will think of more later, I also posted an initial review several posts back.. If you have questions ask away... For now I'm waiting to order new coils and shocks all around... I will get pictures of the solenoids and tank later.. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to pictures.

Lots of custom work. I'm not a lowered fan however I can appreciate and respect the fab skills. Kudos on your skill set, hope it all pans out well, pun intended LOL.
BTW, thumbs up to using the larger hemi's and panhard parts. The BJ and PH joints in these trucks wear out so fast, the larger parts should hold up so much better:thumbsup:

Awesome! I just spotted this thread.

I had discussed doing this a few years ago with a buddy who also had an Ex, but never moved on it. I just wasn't sure about wading into unknown territory, didn't feel like there were any good resources on theory, angles, etc.

Where did you get frame and axle brackets? Or did you fab them yourself?

Sorry just noticed your reply... The (4)4 link mounting brackets were some I had sitting around from a universal kit I picked up long ago. the pan hard bracket on the axle was something I had to fab up after that I welded it to the 4 link bracket and diff.

Update on the truck... Towed over 1.5k miles on some crazy roads haha and it performed better then I would have ever expected. Currently have about 20-24k on it.
