Talked to Paul today ad dynamic diesel, should be picking the engine up this coming weekend. I have to say Paul has been great, he has stood behind his work and has completely gone through everything and I am not spending a dime on this rebuild other than my time to tear it out and put it in.

It's been a long road but she is finally up and running! Put about 400 miles on it and couldn't be happier with the setup. Only issue is my front fuel pump is leaking and will be getting replaced.

congrats phil. other than the front pump, im so freaking glad to see it all working out proper now !

I am very happy! New pump is on the way. Thanks for all the help Mike! I have a list already for the next upgrades I'll be calling you soon.

Replacement pump was on the pitch when I got home yesterday thanks to Paul at dynamic diesel! Truck now won't turn over I think the fuel leak may have fried the starter solenoid fml.

Alliant Power does their own reman k16s now. Much much better than Ford Reman k16s. Might be worth your while.

That is exactly what I'm running on it. No start issue was completely unrelated, the shift linkage had come lose and wasn't reading in park. Truck is back up and running and I am very happy with the setup. I want to thank Shane as well for the advice on tuning my gate, the ratios are damn near 1:1.

I got a p132b and p2263 codes today, popped the hood to find this. Pressed it back on with a screwdriver we will see if it stays. These are pressed on are they not? Also got my isspro gauges wired up tonight but looks like I may have a bad sender for my boost gauge, it reads 10 psi with the engine not running.

What should this setup be running for egts? The truck has been consistently holding around 1200 and will spike to 1600(maxed out on my gauge) at wot. Should I be cutting back the fuel?

Engine is coming out and starting over, block is cracked. Going to do it all in my own shop this time around. Going back to stock fuel this time as well.

I needed a fall/winter project. Just glad the shop I usd is being cool and giving all new parts and a new block.

Had some time to work on it today pressure tested it just to confirm before I pull the engine. Sure enough coolant coming out the studs even with my air compressor having a bad leak at the fitting. I have a video but can't upload it for some reason

Ready to pull. New block will be ready for pickup his week. All assembly will be done by me this time.

Got it pulled and started disassembly. Found a valve retainer about to let go while tearing it down so I guess it was a good thing I pulled the engine before it dropped a valve. Verified that the block is cracked as well.

Truck is for sale, I’m over it and want my garage back. All parts will be included, I’ll make a classified ad this afternoon.
