I have a Lincoln 140 mug that's pretty good and a Hobart 190 that's even better, but you can't beat a miller

miller 251
Longevity 200dx tig. cheaper then a spool gun for the 251

the 211 is a 100amp welder (industry standard is 60% duty cycle IIRC). a bit small for welding to 1/2" axle tubes, the 4in1 bucket looks to be thinner plate so it will probably be fine there.

about as big as you can go on single phase is 200amp which is why the miller 200/250/251/252 are so popular

What's everybody's welder of choice? Brand, model, etc.

My choice is Miller. I have a Diversion 180 tig and a Millermatic 211 mig. Hypertherm plasma coming soon.

Don't you just love the Diversion 180? I got one a couple years ago and I use it more than anything else I have......SO handy!
