What makes the TS style chips so muh better than Edge, Banks, SCT, ect.?
The custom tunes are just that custom:
Shift points
Throttle response
Power outputs
Idle
And the list can go on.
What exactly do the canned tunes do/do not for the above points and others I have missed?
Where I am at everyone runs custom tunes, and only one guy I know runs canned tunes. Where my brother is everyone runs canned tunes, and only he runs custom. We can explain the differences the best we can, but some think that canned tunes are Gods gift to the 7.3. I would challenge them to find a truck over 350-400 hp on canned tunes. I don't know of any.
Just looking for a little more ammo to come back at them with.
