What’s rdt?

Smoke out the oil fill like that = new engine in my book. That’s a crap load of blow by.

Road draft tube/ccv mod.
And that's not the oil fill. That is the ccv (doghouse on valve cover) with a hose attached and vented to atmosphere.
If that was hooked up like stock, it may not show a lot of stuff out of the oil filler.
While it is a "common mod," some trucks act differently.

Ccv mod would have been fine.

I thought it was strange too when he said blow by but with a hose connected to the oil fill neck - hey people do some wack chit. So I rolled with it...

My ccv is pretty pronounced but not as seen in the video.

I guess I didn't see where it was said the hose was hooked to the fill cap.
Sounds like any other obs I've heard/been around. They have that choppiness to them.
I would assume it has injectors and a tune. Which could be part of it as well.
But.. I would replace the sensors and go from there. If it's starting fine, compression is no worry.

Let me be more clear since it’s jasper..

I assumed it was hooked up to the oil fill neck. When people say blow by, I would assume they know it’s from the fill neck.... if the OP maybe connected a hose to it, I’ll roll with that too.

^^^ yes, as said- blow by, schmo by! They all have it. Clear the codes and see what comes back. These engines are designed to be in service a long time. If the compression test across the holes is with 5-10% hi/lo and is above ~330, ford says send it. It may be a tad tougher to start but they run fine.

Focus on the hi pressure system being sealed, good batts, good fuel pressure, good glow plugs and harnesses. Fix as you go..

That and $2 will get you a Pikes Place..
