It might sound crazy but I installed a Neway from a Peterbilt air leveling valve to the bottom of the pickup box above the rear axle. I attached the rod to the bolt on top of the rear axle housing. At the outlet of the valve bag side I installed a 0-5V sensor and programmed it into my Edge CTS. In the inlet of the tank I have a 100psi shutoff switch that is powered by my outfitters switch then goes through a relay to power the compressor. I have the ride height set where I want empty end up being around 4lbs. I never touch it. Every time I hook up to a trailer or load something in the truck it takes care of itself. I had to put a orfice in the dump side to slow the air way down or the compressor would run more than I liked. Just a idea.

Have fun building that bag kit. What a joke. I'll never recommend airlift for this platform.

I have the air lift kit and seems to be pretty high quality. Yea there are a lot of parts but once you start assembling it takes no time at all

I don't have the wireless, because it isn't conpatable with onboard air compressors. It only works with having the compressor hooked straight to the bags.

I have a 2.5 gallon tank that feeds the bags and train horns and other things

I use the air lift wireless one controller on my truck. It works well. I just keep extra batteries on hand. I have had them die on me before right when I put a large load on the GN

I have firestone bags on my truck. It is what we have used on all of ours in the past and they have worked great. The new air lift ones with the built in "jounce bumper" seem very neat. I think it would be good for heavy loads. Air lift makes a good product as well as firestone you won't have problems with either of the bags.

They are cool. For the reason you stated, and also that you can run them 0 psi worry free.
