Well, after not currently having enough time to make some repairs on my 06 6.0, I went ahead and decided to buy a new dually. I picked up a new 2019 f350 Cclb drw, 4x4, white platinum ultimate lariat. I’m going to use it as my welding truck. Plans are front and rear replacement bumpers, 2” level and shocks, and window tint for the upcoming week. I’m also building a skid for now, until time frees up a little to build a new bed. The roads I drive to get to various locations are extremely rough. On my old truck, I ran some rough country 2.0 shocks and liked them for the money. I’m kind of thinking about upgrading from that, without going too crazy on cost. What would be a few steps above those? Bds, Fox, bilstein?

Fox 2.0s are great for trucks that dont go offroad a lot and are a great ride. If you do a lot of bumpy long pipeline roads then id go with fox 2.5s or the like. Post pics of the new ride!

I was thinking about king reservoir shocks. The only ones I see are for 4” lifts and higher. I’ll look into the Fox 2.5s too.

I haven’t leveled truck yet, but I did get front and rear replacement bumpers, windows tinted, and borrowed wheels and tires off my 6.0. It’s treating me good so far.
