Hey all,

I have a 2014 F250 with 3.55 gears and 305/55R20 tires, my mileage seems terrible. Averaging 12 in town, and 16 on the highway. I had a 2014 F350 with the same hardware and it got a consistent 15 in town and 19 on the highway. I also NEVER see performing regen on the dash like my last did, and my EBP seems higher than normal.

I also can't read any of my EGT sensors with my CTS2, the *** soot load doesn't read, and never shows I'm doing a regen. *** definitely is there. Did someone add a ****** tuner and stick the stock exhaust back on and it's just plugging up the ***? I've had it for about 4k miles.

That's just about exactly the same I get with my brand new 2016. I had a 2001 7.3 that got much better fuel economy and no smog at all on it. I straight piped right out of the turbo all the way back. Everyone I talk to you says if you do a def ****** and open up the exhaust you should be getting close to 20 miles to the gallon. I currently live in the spot in California where they do not require smog on diesel yet . But with nutty California you never know when they'll start and it will go all the way back to day one to start smogging Vehicles if possible.

That's about what my '15 got. Weight loss won't send it to 20, but helps a bit.

Just odd. My last 14 that was the exact thing got significantly better all around. Add in the fact that I can't read any of those parameters, something seems off. EBP seems high. I can spike it to over 60. Generally 2:1 though.

Anyone else? Seems embarrassingly low. 16 at 70mph is not good.

All stock my 16 got 13.5-14
after lift and 37" tires, with speedo corrected, it was 11.5-12
after diet and tunes I'm around 14-14.5

All numbers around town/city. I don't do much highway cruising. My 9 mile ride to work kills my mileage, it's either all 0-50mph between lights or a 5mph crawl in traffic

my 15 averages 12.8 mpg in stop and go traffic on my 11 mile commute - on the way to my deer lease last weekend I hand calculated 11.37 mpg running 80-85. On the way back I drove 70-75 and averaged 14.8. I have 355/50/22's with a leveling kit and ******* tuning. I can't for the life of me get mileage worth a poo

My '11 with 3.55s ******d with the stock turbo would consistently get a little over 20 mpg @ 80 mph with 275 65r20 a/t tires. Now with a 364.5 sxe the best tank so far has been 19.2 @ 80 mph with 285 65r20 m/t tires. All calculations are hand calculated with a gps for the distance. The gps makes a difference, I recently made a trip to Phoenix and the odometer read 40 miles short on a 500 mile trip and my speedo reads dead on

See I would love to be somewhere near that. Hell, 18 would work. No reason I shouldn't be. Jus trying to see if there is something wrong.

I'm in the same boat. My hand calculated average over the last 18,000 miles is 13.29 and is 90% city and about 1% towing. Not overly impressed with the mileage but I'm always puttin the wood to it. Driving is my biggest waste of time.

with that much city driving , i'm not surprised the bits of putting the wood to it hurt it to 13.29 . i think grandma driving would net you 15 max if you ran 90/10 city/highway .

Haha. Yup. It will be years before I drive like my grandmother. She was still driving in her late 80's though. Like a bat out of hell too.

I drive like a total grandma. Never rev over 1600, never get over like 30% engine load when acclerating, which equates to like 1/8th throttle. Takes me 15 seconds to hit 40mph and I still average 12. Wtf. Lol

wheel/tire/height make a HUGE difference. these super tall gear ratio's punish those that deviate.

20s, shorter than stock tires but a tad wider, stock height. 305/55R20
