18mm or 20mm

Ok well for all of us with 2006 model trucks, What is the best way to determine if you have 18mm or 20mm dowels? Is there anyone that can take our VIN and determine the build date? Can i find the build date anywhere on the truck? Just maybe some good info to share.

Look at your build date on the door. Jan 06= 20mm

ok well guess that was simple. date is 11/05 so i am guessing 18mm?

motor build date is on the pass valve cover

Ya the motor says 2006 so I don't think I would go ofthat. Truck build date should hopefully be right

the dowels that the head sit's on...they went from 18mm to 20mm in 06
