I think Being locked in 6th didn’t help. And I must be honest. Unless your running in your hot tune. That grade isn’t 6%, or your trailer isn’t 12k, for the truck to stay in 6th gear.

Agreed..

That really isn't hot btw.. try tow haul or locking out 6th..

Get better engine oil and trans fluid in it. The LE 8854 5w40 engine oil and 1150 trans fluid from jimdawg185 on here will drop temps a few degrees.

I meant have you ever heard the clutch fan? Usually is a pretty loud roar when engaged, ( at least on my old truck) I thought it was supposed to automatically come on with max a/c on but I have never heard anything. I think I'll make an appointment with the dealer to get it checked. I do always tow in tow haul, I wanted to get a bigger camper but definitely would not feel comfortable with the truck as is, so far I'm missing my 04 duramax except for all the newer features.
