2013 first oil change now making funny noise help

I have had this truck for 2 months runs great I went up and got some oil from the guy behind the counter the guy looked up my truck and gave me 15w40 and now my truck makes a funny ticking noise I have not looked into it that much but its weird that it just started making the noise right after the oil change it has the right amount any body else have this happen

type writer, it's common. Its part of the 6.7 engine design according to ford.

Most I have seen have started ticking with in the first couple of oil changes

I'm not a 6.7 guy yet, but where did yall learn about using 10w30?

changed at ford or by yourself? that is a synthetic blend also..

Myself since 40,000. Before that was at Ford due to the 36k warranty, and me not being able to change it at the apartment we had.
I'm not a 6.7 guy yet, but where did yall learn about using 10w30?

It's recommended by Ford for use in the 6.7.

LE 8854 5w-40 for a bit over 10k. No tick. Changed the factory oil at roughly 2500 to T6 for 7509 miles. No tick.
